So, I finished my first MJ mod and went to put it in my tank. Problem... how the heck do I mount it? Well, after a day of trying different ways, I found a few pieces of acrylic strips in the garage. Then, the light came on and here are pics of what I made. Hope it helps a few of you out there, that may be experiencing the same problem.

I'm going to cut a small piece of acrylic ( to make a plate) then drill and counter sink a hole in it. I'm going to get a stainless steel screw that'll sit flush in the hole and epoxy it in place. Next, I'm going to epoxy the plate to the bottom of my MJ. I'm going to attach the MJ to the bracket with a stainless wing nut, that wat I can adjust it horizontally.

This bracket is VERY easy to make. I just used a torch type lighter to heat the area I wanted to bend, then found a good straight edge to bend it over. I'll post more pics of the finished product once it's all done.

Well, I'm gonna see how well this works. I've got longer strips if I need it to sit deeper.
