How does the Ushio 14k compare to the Phoenix 14k?

Both are nice lamps. Personally I would go with Phoenix, but I can tell you that the Ushio is a hot selling lamp so there are plenty of hobbyists that like them. Both produce an excellent color and would be great choices. Because I like them both the decision would come down to price for me.

Where could I buy either of these lights in 14k SE 250w?? Cant seem to find them online.

Hey Foster,

The Ushio is only available in 175 SE and 150/250 DE at this time and Phoenix is also only available in 150/ 250 DE versions. Ushio told us that the 250 SE is coming soon so keep in touch with us.
