I am upgrading my lighting to T5's and want to run a daylight schedule (morning, midday, afternoon). I checked out some controllers and I like the features of the timer aspects, but I DO NOT NEED all of the probes and other bells and whistles. I just want something to work 4 power outlets via timer.

Suggestions? I looked at the AquaController thread, and again, don't need the bells and whistles...just soemthing I can have a variety of settings that is quality and won't die on me or burn my house down.

I just use cheap UL-listed timers from the hardware store.

I've used this Intermatic for years. Digital w/ battery back-up. Around $20.

HD sells a digital Intermatic timer with 2 3-prong outlets. I use those and run my ATO/Fuge light on the same schedule
