Hello Everyone,
Tomorrow morning I'm delivering some live rock to someone, what is the best way to transport it. I don't know whether to put it in a bucket with wet towels or fill the bucket with water. It will only be out of the tank for about 3 hrs.

Thank you

I've always heard to wrap it in wet newspaper in a cooler. Whatever you do, try to keep it at least moist

I've used various plastic tubs and wrapped them up with paper towels soaked in tank water myself, and all the bugs were still active as soon as they hit the water an hour or two later.

I've gotten rock from people before wrapped in moist newspaper, then put into a garbage bag.

in water is best, damp and in a cooler or wrapped in very wet (tankwater only) newspaper in a plastic bag inside a box (must be in plastic first to keep the box from absorbing the water) is fine, imo.
