My Hadonni has grown at least 3-4 inches in the last 2-3 weeks. I feed my tank 2 times a day (Polymnus feeds my Hadonni durinf these feedings) Plus I feed the tank krill and shrimp everyother day for my HUGE female Polymnus clown(usually feeds the anemone those as well)...

Anyway how fast are these known to grow in peoples tanks? How long? Whats the longest one has been kept?

I have a 23.5 inch tall tank with 2-250w MH 10K but will be switched back to 14K's soon. The anemone is in the sand, and under a ledge of rocks but is highly exposed to flow and light.

Thanks

Sam

I have seen these guys get up to 2 feet across in tanks.

It is not unusual for any anemone to seem like it is growing very fast in the first couple weeks. They tend to shrink during capture and transportation. What is really happening is that it is getting used to your tank and is just expanding back to its original size.
That being said, the more you feed it the faster it will grow.
