Right now I'm working on getting my 20L up and running (has pink zoos, Star polyps, and a tiny Red Sea Purple Tang (getting put in a 90 gallon when it gets bigger).

I was told by differnt people that it is possible to keep SPS coral in PCs, but dont get the nice color they normaly do when in MH. Is this true? I know right now I got a small green Montapora in my 20H, but its way up in the light, and seems to be doing fine (with nice colors but not as nice as MH). Does this go the same for Acro's or is it that I can barely get away with the Montapora?

Also, my Purple Tang ate and killed a small Trachphyllia brain and was wondering how "reef safe" is a Purple tang, it leaves the Zoos and the polyps alone.

Thanks

I have a Purple Tang in my 280g reef and it isn't eating my corals. FWIW.

PCs don't produce the nice colors we want from SPS, and considering how expensive they are I'd suggest you hold off on acquiring more until you do get new lighting for your 90g.
