Hi all,
I have been having a pretty diligent growth of red hair algae in my fuge, and though contained to the fuge, would like to get rid if it.
Since it is a fuge, I am reluctant to get a Foxface ( they love pods ).
Having read many articels, it appears that the Pacific Turbo Snail, Turbo fluctuosus, has a good taste for red hair algae.
Questions:
1) do any of you have good experiences getting rid of it?
2) Where can one get the little buggers? I did a Google search and have not had good return - LiveAquaria mentions them, but are of the Mexican type ( which apparently do not like red hair :) )
Thanks in advance,
