Onyx growth

I'll try to not make any new posts on my cute little rod onyx & just update this one instead. My plan is a monthly update on its development and a nice little picture guide for others getting baby onyx.

I have almost monthly progress on my onyx. Here they are!

Feb 06, newly aquired 3-4 month old onxy

Late March 06! Tale stripe taking shape.

May 06! a tiny bit more black around the tail stripe & black lips start to develope

June 06! Black lips develope & tail stripe thickens, not much else.

July 06! Tail stipe almost connected, black is thicker

August 06! Tail stripe has reached the bottom, black growing up dorsal now & thickining over back stripes. :) Black lips thinned out :(
