View Full Version : i cant figure out what kind of anemone ?

i collected four of this anemone's i live in the caribbean and i cant figure out what type is it...? also will my percula use it as a host and if so how long it takes because she seem very intrested in them ?

It actually looks like a toadstool to me.

toadstool are found in the pacific and their also a soft coral this specimen for sure is an anemone because it has a mouth in the center , maybe this other pic might help its located at the bottom right corner of the pic.

Atlantic anemone species are not natural host for clownfish. So yours may or may not host.

Some anemones are highly predatory and may eat your fish.
