mounting large colt?

I've found sites about how to mount a small colt coral frag fairly easily, but i have a pretty large piece i need to mount. Its probably about 5 inches...when its all shrunk down. I tried the toothpick idea, but it just went right through it. The guy i got it from said to just stick it in some rocks, but i really have no where in my tank where theres not that much current, enough so that it wont float away. Any other ideas? before it does float away which i would not be too happy about. thanks

I usually just stick it between 2 rocks and it attaches pretty quickly. It doesn't have to be in an area with no flow.

Have you tried sewing it on? Sewing works for me when the coral is not being cooperative.
