Added a Hippo Tanf to my reef.
He has been in the tank for a week, has been eating and moving around freely.
The tank was fed today and he ate fine. Tonight he is settling into one corner (?) When other fish come near him he swims away bu then returns.

Is this normal behavior?
I know that hippos are prone to ick but they are no visible signs of it.

Any thoughts?

Hippo's are strange, they will get into rockwork and lay almost sideways like their gonners. Mine would do this all the time right about lights out.
Just keep an eye on it, watch for the dreaded ick, clouded eyes, lateral line etc.
What are you feeding? Be sure to keep greens in there for it. And most definately keep a cleaner shrimp.

Been feeding frozen cubes of minced prawn or squid and spinach
It is getting near lights out so hopefully this is norm(?) behavior.
No signs of ick etc....
Thanks for reply

They are more of a "vegitarian" sorta speak. Get a sheet of nori and a clip. You can get the stuff at the grocery store sold as sushi wrappers. Rip a sheet in half and give it a roll, then put it in the clip and suction cup to the inside of the tank. You can also rubber band it to a rock and let it sit on the bottom.
