ok just got this guy from the LFS and it's been in there a while, it came out of a fellow reefers tank that tore it all down and had some really nice stuff. but anywayz I need an ID on this coral and proper placement, light needs, flow, etc....
thanks people
oh the whole colony is about 6" in diameter and the polyps / heads are smaller than a dime, but not much

favia. I have the same one just a little brighter. I have mine in medium/low flow, 12" directly under a 250 Watt 10K Hamilton MH along with 64W Actinic PC's and 55W Actinic T-5.
Favia. Favites shares corallite walls, and you have distinct walls. Healthy looking too.

Mine looked exactly like that, stuck it directly underneath 400w 10ks and the mouths (or centers) stayed completely bright green and the walls turned bright yellow. Have a pic, will post it tomorrow. Nice looking coral!
