Anyone know of any simple and affordable wavemakers?

There is a DIY that uses a toilet stopper setup.
It is a surge tank type that fills and as it reaches full, a float attached to the ball valve opens drain and allows the water to "surge" into display.

i lost the link but there is that $29 one that's really made for disco lights but works really well for this application.

i bought the one snarkys is talking about.it works great, and will run up to four powerheads.do a search on ebay for currentsea wave maker.

sorry, you have to do a search for wave makers.the item # is 260028595814. if you check item # 260030148446 its the same thing but less money.funny how the price goes up when you say its for an aquarium and paint another name on it.
