5g qt

i have a 5g tank not used. is this too small for a qt. im expecting the fish not to be any larger then 2in? would (2) 2" fish be to much for a 5g qt?

how long is acceptable to keep the filter in the mail tank (cycle) will also use the 5g from the main tank.

im guessing 4wks??

i could use the 25g unused tank too but that would be more work.

I would just go get a 10 or 20 gallon from wal-mart. A 5 gallon is pretty small and can get cramped.

i never really had any luck with the 25. but thinking this is by better choice if i want to 2 more fish to the display.

guess its time to cycle the filter in the display for 4 wks?

use 10g display and 15g new SW?
