I just moved a 20g tank that has been set up since december and now the SG readings are off the chart ?!??! is this normal

the GBTA has begun opening up and ate a silverside and the fish are eating and swimming around but the readings are consistently 1.032 and higher

Thanks
Ken

I would verify the accuracy of the device before doing much. This article might help:

How are you measuring SG?

That value is certainly very high if real, and I'd lower it by 0.001 every 1-2 days until down to 1.027 or less. However, organisms can live in high salinity, such as in the Red Sea. :)
