LifeGuard BIG Digital temp alert

How accurate are these thermometers?
I bought one today, and put a glass thermomerter by the probe. The digital (LifeGuard Big Temp) reads 2* lower than the glass.

Do you trust them?

I've bought my share of poorly calibrated digital thermometers, and returned all of them. (The ones that weren't accurate that is). I find it to be common that they're not accurate enough for our uses.
