ViaAqua pumps?

anyone use them? I just picked up a ViaAqua 2600 800 gph. just wondering if anyone uses them? I posted this in another forum but im getting ready to hook this pump up and am trying to find out if they are really bad before i hook it up. that way i can return it if need be. anyone know?

I've been beating on a couple of them for years now. they've worked flawlessly. one of them is my auto top off pump and i was running it dry at least once a week for a year or two and it still runs fine.
