Might be a dumb question, but can i spray paint this fixture with spray paint to match wood/canopy color if i choose to put this fixture outside on top the canopy? If so what type of spray paint do you recommend? Do i need high temperature spray paint?
Thanks

SMS,

Which fixtures are you referring too? In general I don't see why not, but I'm not quite sure how the spray paint will adhere to the cured powder coat. Since our fixtures run cool, you shouldn't need a high temperature paint. Any spray paint made for metals should work.

Thank you,

Tom

P.S. Try not to get any paint on the inner components such as the fan(s).

I was talking about 5x54W T5 HO fixture.
Does it create any warranty issues if i spray paint only outside?

Also do you have a picture of the silver fixture for these lighting?

SMS,

Yes, it would void the warranty due to you modifying the fixture and can possibly damage internal components with the spray getting on them. I will look around for a picture of the silver fixture. Otherwise I'll take a picture for you.

Thank you,
