my MH won't fire up, i can't figure out why? light bulb works. won't fire

have you tried more than one outlet?

no, but it lights up green like it's working

you may not have sufficient current in that outlet to power up your ballast. has this worked on your outlet before or is it a new setup?

it's worked fine, it just croked yesterday. the funny thing is... i bought a new bulb.. it fired up and then next day same thing... bulbs are fine

it's one of those big blue ballasts

check the ground (usually green) wire if its a DIY installation. This is often wired wrong and results in non-firing.
