help help help quick question

we have cleaned alot of algae off the back glass we havent cleaned it for 4 months...it was pretty thick red and green anyway the water turned really cloudy....and the ammonia was 1.0 should I worry everything else is in check??? tank is 6 months old a 210 gallon

No need to panic. The cloudiness will disappear on its own. Run carbon as mentioned above, and do a couple of appropriate water changes in the next few days.

ok just have alllot of very expensive critters in there....I can add some new carbon tonight the carbon thats been in there is 20 days old??? also can I clean the new carbon in fresh water before I add it to the tank?? instead of salt water?

i always clean mine with fresh water first... i maybe doing this wrong, but i've never noticed any harm...

as long as you rinse the black powder out.... i think it should be fine

ok new carbon in let it settle..ammonia now back to 0~~~~ thanks hopefully everything will be ok in the morning????
