View Full Version : Silcone Failure...too many brats before bed...

I was going to do a system leak test on my system by filling the tank with water from the outside hose. The sanitary tub faucet doesn't have a ton of pressure to make the journey.

Anyway, I'm not for sure that the temp. of the hose water is, although be it cold.

Filling up a 240g tank with cold water isn't going to make the silcone seals get funky is it? I thought of this trying to drown my sorrow after the Packer game with 4 Johnsonville brats and a four pack of Sprecker Root Beer....(Burp!)

Nope, the cold water won't effect the silicone. The brats and root beer will though, sugar and gas don't mix :). Go Bears

the bears still suck, just like the silicone will still hold up to cold water..

I leak checked my system with well water during the winter. The condensation was forming on the outside of the tank. Like an ice cold Sprecker Root Beer in the summer time.

That is what I thought when you put it up. The guys in the office were talking about how slow the Packer offense line was this morning and I thought of the sea turtle right away. That is the reason for the quip.
