Your fish aren't lesser fish, lol. I love your clown, prettier than the undy IMO.

is that a cleaner shrimp?!?! so cool that they coexist. I think that it looks great. What is your formula for staying so algae free in your tank? Do your your trigs and wrasses let you have a cleaning crew?

I have 2 shrimp and nobody ever has attempted to harm them. I don't have a cleaning crew. Just one hermit crab. I had some snails but they don't last long. I don't feed raw meat nearly at all now. Just pellets and nori. I had red slime about 3 months after moving into this tank. But since I stopped the meat, it has gone away. I do have green hair algae, but I pulled most of it out. I did finally notice that the skimmer pumps have a total of 3 nozzles for the venturi thing, I was only using one, but now am using 2. I do run 2 big skimmers that are supposedly good to 200 each on this 135. I'm sure that helps. I also keep the salinity a bit higher, around 1.028 and that seems to make the skimmers work better also.

Great looking tank!
I have some of those same fish in my 240...
How does the Powder Blue Tang do in there? That is probably the next fish I was going to add to my tank. Have you had any problems with it?

Nice tank Dan, are you useing a wide angle lens or just stock? It's not easy to get a clear FTS.

I am going with flash on the 1st, then no on the rest. I set the camera down, and set the timer and have the 'sport' mode for a faster shutter speed I think, that or it just writes it differently to get the second shot faster....don't really know. It is just the regular lens though. Thanks for the praise holmes!

The pbt does perfect with the others. Being in the Acanthurus genus really comes in handy being around wrasses and trigs. It holds it ground. Hell, if I put my face close to the tank, it charges me and flares up. Pretty bold for a gentle looking tang. It did get a light spell of ich for a few days that worked itself away.....then came back a week later for another couple of days. None of the other fish ever contract it. Having 2 cleaner shrimps helps also just in case. It was a trick to get it to eat quality foods. I have it on Spectrum 1mm pellets and it loves them like they're crack for fish. It would not touch nori at first and only eat it after a trigger crapped it out. (sick!) Then I would mince nori up and soak it and then pour it in so that it would float low in the water, not up on top where it can't get its mouth. Then I went to feeding large credit card size pieces and between the angel, triggers and hogfish it gets torn up pretty good and the tang gets the size it needs. When I first got it it was really thin, you know like how yellow tangs almost always look at the lfs......but now it is thick as it should be and on its way back to good health.
How's that for a complete answer!

beautiful tank Danorth, haven't seen a nice selection of fish like that in awhile. doesn't look overstocked, you got some room for the fish to grow but you'll need a 300 gallon someday

You're welcome SoonerFan.
Emp, I agree 100%. When my wife kicks me out for asking for yet another tank, I'm moving your way......with a few buckets of friends!

It's hard to say. They aren't very thick fish to begin with. I would guess that it has grown about an inch.
Here is a shot of it when I first got it back at the start of March:
