Hello everyone,
In the near future I will be setting up a 90 gallon tank with a porcupine puffer. I am still trying to decide what other fish to put in the tank with him. Any suggestions or advice would be helpful.
Thanks

Our three big Porc's live quite nicly with Angels, Grouper, Brown and green bird wrasses, And a meduim volation Lion in our 180.
Everyone is happy and they all line up on feeding day waiting to be fed.

I currently have my porc in a tank with a bannana wrasse an anthia and a dog face (130gallons). In the past he has lived with both yellow and hippo tangs, a coral beauty, a snow flake eel, a lion fish and a niger trigger. He's my favorite and the only fish I took with me when I moved across country. They eat like crazy and make huge messes but are so freindly. They actually come up to the glass to say hello/beg for food. Good luck and great choice!

Best suggestion I can offer after owning these beautiful and wonderful specimen's....i swear to god a 90 gallon is too small. The minimum IN MY OPINION should be a 125, ESPECIALLY if he will have a tankmate. Since you said will be setting up the tank in the future, please please upgrade to a larger tank. Even though he won't say it, the puffer will thank you ;-)

Ralphie-Good point. They do grow fast and fat. If goby doesn't already have the set up.....bigger is better.
