sun polyp question

will sun polyps grow on old skeletal base?

have three polyps that i got and all around it will they sprout new ones or should i try to seperate the as much as possible and mount to new rock?

yep, in my experience they will...I've got a micranthra that is doing it right now.

They may not take up the old skeleton, but they'll grow new polyps out over the old. Least this was my experience.

They're non photosynthetic, so they need to be fed meaty foods. The more you feed them, the fatter they'll get and more they'll grow/spread. But yeah, eventually they'll spread and cover the rock/skeleton.
