I am considering buying an Enaly OZX-300U Ozone Generator and using a MRC MR2 Skimmer as the reactor through an ozone port. I'm new to ozone and want to know if this is as good as using a separate reactor. I plan to use an ORP controller and I have a skimmate containment vessel that will shut down the air supply if full. I looked at the MTC Ozone reactor recommended by Randy Holmes Farley but they want $350. Why do I need this if the skimmer is set up as the reactor? I am pumping around 1000 gph through the skimmer with a BlueLine 55 pump.
