So I need to get some new bulbs for my 29 reef... I have 2 65w pc bulbs to replace. What should I get to replace them with?

Safe bet is likely to get two 50/50's.

If you do a 10,000K daylight and a actinic you can do a dawn and dusk effect and have the same PAR as 2 50/50's. There is not a lot of choices in PC bulbs.

My favorites when it comes to PC's is the Odyssea bulbs from Aquatraders.com. I use the Actinic and the 50/50 over my frag tank. That is the only way I have been able to get any decent color out of PC's...

65k, 88k might be something to try if your looking for some growth. I have two odyssea 10k 65 watt bulbs with about 3 months of use on them i will sell you if your interested. Straight pin.
