Cycling water from the ocean

I will be going to Key West to do some diving and fishing in a couple week and have the ability to bring back about 100 gallons of water.

So my question is:
What will happen with the cycling process when I use this water along with live sand to start up a new reef tank?

The only issue with clean ocean water is the presence of suspended organisms that can die and release ammonia if not removed or kept alive somehow.

I expect for cycling new live sand it is a fine way to go.
