It's rare Mike, but not completely unlikely.
Can you kalk or Joes Juice them?
Hey Bill, Had pretty good success with kalk . If i hit 20 of them 10 or so reappear. Gonna give one a shot. Might get intresting if he has a taste for exotic zoas and palys!

Doh!
Well, I know what you mean, it can be maddening!
A copperband is nice, but how about some peppermint shrimp?
I never heard of them mutilating zoas, but I'm sure someone has, it's just not that common.
The other part about using a biological way of removing them, as soon as the animal leaves (dies or gets evicted) the aips come right back.
Hey, post a pic of your tank!
PS I've been working a lot in your neighborhood lately, I just forgot which block and house number yours is. Otherwise I'd come over and steal, I mean admire your corals...:D
Talk about maddening, picked up 7 pep shrimp from Tony LI reef Exotics last week. Since my six line jumped a few days before figured they would be ok. No dice my small candy hog picked them off one at a time. Man did i feel stupid! Anyway you can see pics in the prop forum" Hot Frags".... Mike.

Double Doh!
Hogs are, for the lack of a better word, hogs. :wildone:
Sorry to hear that Mike.
I have had many Copperbands and always had zoas. None ever picked on my zoas. I can help you catch em if he does though.
I say get em.;)

A CB is fine with zoos. They may however pick at LPS if they develop a taste for them.
