i was wondering how the new higher flow sieo are? i have heard in the past the 620 and 820 in think? once they stop its hard to restart them? i was thinking of the 2600 or the 1 just a little smaller?i read that to make the price between the tunze and sieo you would need to run the tunze4 1/4 years to match up the price to the cost of running the energy eff. tunze. i have heard the tunze uses less enegry= less heat but i am still looking at the differences. so if anyone has anything i would be interested in hearing it thanks again Andrew

I have both the 820 and the 1500 Seio pumps and yes, they make some clacking after the power is out but stop after a couple of seconds.
If you got the cash for the Tunze's I would go for it but the Seio's work just fine for me. Its one of those things, you can spend a lot now or go less money and pay for it over time.

Have you thought about modding some Maxi Jets?
I have been looking at what people are doing with them and just might try a couple out.

I have two of the Seios also. Mine don't make any noise but they do push out more of a cylinder of water than the Tunzes I have seen. The Tunze seems to be much more laminar and wider with its flow.
