I have a 75G tank with (2) 250W 10K XM bulbs and (3) 36" VHO super actinic (95 W). I am having a problem getting good color from my alien eye, it is growing and has a green rim and yellow eyes however, the inside is brown instead of pink and it is placed at the botom of the tank any suggestion, Thanks in advance.

Same here, but I have 50/50 pc's. It might be water chemistry. Because mine has changed from pink to brown, back to pink, now its brown.

Being that I have a nano, its more difficult to maintain stable water chemistry.

My 2 cents....

I haven't had any problem with mine. Mine is under T5's and growing really nice.
Off Topic- Have anyone seen the red watermelon?

I would raise it up slowly if possible. I have several frags of watermelon, and the ones in brighter light look pinker. The lower light corals have a slight purple/brown cast to the center pink area. I also had one tilt a little, and it turned a little brown. My best frags are facing straight up about 24" under 250W 14KK bulbs. HTH
