I tried to search to no avail. I am wondering if there are some small diameter bulkhead fittings suitable for nanos available anywhere. I've seen the ones that are 90 degree elbows and a bhd fitting combined, but only on all-in-one tanks. Any ideas on where to buy such?

Thanks in advance!

I just bought a 1/2" bulkhead from Marine Depot for my aquapod.

Here is the link...

I go to the electrical dept at Home Depot for 3/4" bulkheads, they're under a buck. Gasket comes off an old carbon block or micron filter for my RO/DI, that makes it free.

You can't use regular PVC plumbing for bulkheads because their threads are NPT which means they're tapered and won't snug up to the glass. PVC electrical conduit isn't tapered and can be screwed down tight. Get a slip X male threaded and a slip X female threaded , find the appropriate gasket, like I said the gaskets on most RO prefilters fit 3/4" perfectly, and you're good to go. Because the threads aren't tapered the gasket needs to go on the outside of the tank btw.

You can see the conduit bulkhead in this pic,
