Seeing that I'm primarily still in the planning phase of my cube, I've been giving some consideration to what I'd like to keep. So I go cruising the sites to see different species and notice that some sites state one optimal tank size for a given fish while other sites quote something completely different fo rthe same fish. For example, on site says that a particular fish can be kept in 30 galls. where another site states 50 galls. for the same fish.
so, where can I find accurate information for a particular species?
Thanks.

There simply is no hard and fast rule. Different people will tell you various things. Pick a few fish that you like, research them, take in all the info you get from various sources (including people on RC), then decide what size tank you feel is correct.

Figure out what you want and then get a tank BIGGER than what you think they'll need. Trust me on this. :)

Well, for me the tank that I'm planning is as big as I can get (a 30-ish cube) and the fish I was intersted in is the Red Velvet Wrasse. Can anyone here tell me if the tank I plan will be a good sized home for this species?
Thanks.
