I had posted earlier about using a timer to interrupt my pumps for feeding. Well I have completed the project and I am here to report on it.
WARNING a basic understanding of electricity is highly advisable before starting project.
Parts list
1 Intermaatic timer FD32H (SPDT)
1 dual plug box with custom made strain guard
1 outlet from home depot
1 face plate
1 used cord from old computer
The heart of the unit is the switch. The FD32H is a SPDT switch so it has a normally closed position. it is the shorteds time timer Intermatic makes at 2 hours. I verified Line 1 and load 1 were the NC terminals, and they became the interrupt.

On this cord the brown wire was the hot side, so it was the one I chose to interrupt with the timer.

Total assembly took about 30 minutes, and now I will never forget to turn my pumps back on after feeding.
I got the timer on eBay, but you can also get it at this link.
