maybe i should have re-searched this more before buying but..
I just just purchased Hamiltons 250 watt reefstar for my 37 gallon tank ( 30x12x22 ).
The Orbits 30" PC fixture i had just wasn't cutting it for me or at least for what i wanted in my tank as far as corals and also my tank is fairly deep at 22 inchs.
So now i just test ran the fixture ( haven't created a mount for it yet ) and it produces alot of heat.
My question is from the water surface of my tank, how high should the MH be inch wise.
If anybody with experiance with a 250 watt MH or this particular MH could give me a holler that would be greatly appriciated.
