thanks, but I was looking for the "gutterwheel mod." It was in the DIY forum, and it was by Roland Jaques. It was called something like, "MY DIY BUBBLE PUMP THAT KICKS BUM." It had something to do with replacing the impellar with gutter guard, but thanks anyway. If anyone know where to find this or kows how to do it please let me know. If I bad-mouth the mj1200 as a pump for protein skimmers, I know someone will get very defensive and tell me how to mod the mj1200 so it is as good as an aquabee, I would prefer not to have to **** someone off in order to get info on the mod, but if that's what I have to do, then that's what I have to do.

An mj-1200 is nowhere near as good at chopping up/injecting air into water as an aquabee is, not even close.
Hopefully that will work.
