Took a few pics of my 5.5g Reef toady. I also decided to show you some of my progress over the last few months, so you can see how far i've come. My tank is finally where i want it to be...aka(i'm out of room) LOL. But seriously i'm pretty much finished stocking this tank. Hope you enjoy the pics....

Yea, I've always had trouble taking up close pics with it. Was messing around with the camera the other day and discovered it had a (flower on it for upclose pics). Now every pic i take with it is clear....

Nah, no trouble with top-offs, i just add the top off water to the filter instead of adding it to the tank...I go through about a gallon every 3 days.

It's a 5.5g AGA tank. It didn't come with anything. I picked which filters/heater/lights i wanted. The black canopy is also something different. My friend built it for me.

Wow, looks amazing! A word of friendly advice, whcih of course you do not have to take: Get that grape caulerpa out of there in a hurry! Once it takes hold, it grows like mad, and is impossible to completely remove. I had it in a 7 gallon once and would never use it again.

Hey there fellow Charlestonian. Always nice to run into a local on here (doesn't happen often). Tank looks awesome and you have one heck of a zoa collection going there. Hopefully I'll have some soon in my 55.
Great job and you have a 54 corner as well? Just looked at your signature.

It's a Christimas Tree Worm Rock. You can do a search on Google.com and come up with some more pics. All the sizes and shapes of the rocks will vary though...

Do you have a reflector on ur lights..
I am planning a similar set up..
A 5.5 gal with 2X24 blubs..
Do you think I should get another blub and bump up the lights to 3X24.
I plan of a tank which Zoos and maybe a leather
You input will be appreciated.
Thanks

I also have 2x24's on mine. They came in a retrokit. There both 10,000k 50/50's. I don't have a reflector on mine. I just screwed them into the top of the hood. The inside of the hood is painted white. I spaced them out so that i could also fit a 1 watt Coralife LED moon light in there. There is definately room for 3x24's, but could make it work with only 2. The only thing i would be worried about is the heat off of another bulb. I've got a small piece of glass in the bottom of my hood to keep water from coming in contact with the bulbs and also to cut down on some of the heat. I use a small fan on the back of my tank to blow on the bulbs to keep the temp around 79.
