Re-Acclamate?

Im in the middle of settin up my 75 w/ a 30 gallon sump.. i only had a 55 gallon since im adding 55 gallons should i acclamate my fish again? i plan on it but do i really need to? b/c i haven't lost a fish yet and don't want to start now!

Are you moving everything from the 55 to the 75? Well I never acclimate my fish, so I probably wouldn't.

I would think it would be like a large water change, so it's entirely up to you. If you feel safer doing it, then I would. :D

Acclimation is to gradually introduce fish into new water.... new salinity, temperature, pH,... If these variables are identical, the acclimation process is probably more stressful than being dumped into a new environment and I wouldn't acclimate them. If any one of these variables is going to change, I'd make the change as gradual as possible, weighing the stress of being confined against the stress of changing environments.
