I just did a water change to tank. and my large anemone is jerking every 5 mins. then it goes back to being all normal.. then jerks inwards.. is this normal? it's not defalating it's tenacles at all..

Not normal. Its probably stress releated. You might have got the salinity less than perfect. Doing that will cause stress.

It could also be the fact that salt crystals are irritating its skin, causing it to reject backwards. Could be copper too if using tap water.

There are many causes and is why its not a good idea to do large water changes without aging it with an airstone and using ro/di water.

I'll add pH to the list of possiblities. Test your tank parameters.

I should also mention that newly mixed seawater will contain ammonia in small amounts. Ammoina is toxic. Use of an ammonia binding agent such as ammo lock is important durring this large of a water change.
