So, the male anthias was doing his little "mating dance" with his 6 ladies today (chases after the slightly here and there, never a nip or damage). He happen to dart and come face to face with my black clown who is 1/3 of his size in length. He hit the breaks and stopped about 1" from the clown, face to face.
My female clown proceeded to stare him down for 3 seconds, then head butted him! The anthias shot the other direction, not knowing what just happened :)
I figured you guys would like that story.
I have a similar situation in my other tank. My sixline in my 58 sometimes gets a little frisky, and will snap at my shrimp. Well, my gobies get along with the shrimp, so they charge the sixline. The sixline gets a little aggressive with the gobies then. The gobies are loved by my perc's, so they both will run full blast at the sixline and ram him. The sixline hides in a corner, not understanding how he doesn't own the tank ;)
