xenia containing and fragging

whats the best way to keep xenia in one spot of the aquarium without isolating it on its own spot in the tank with nothing else around it?? also whats the best way to get it off of a rock?? thanks..

hmm not sure i understand but ill give it a shot, xenia likes to grow upwards so by keeping it up high itll have no where to go, best way to get it off other than cutting it is gently rock the stalk back and forth until it comes off that simple :)
