If I drip kalk each night to replace evaporated water, no need to add Randy's two part? I've been doing both. 90 gallon mixed softie, LPS, SPS.

All depends on your tanks consumption rate. Some get away with just dripping limewater and some have to suppliment a 2-part from time to time. You also have the option of dripping kalk 24/7. Are you dripping saturated limewater already ?

It can be one or the other, or both. If limewater alone is adequate, that's fine. That's all I use.

I guess I should test. The limewater is saturated. I keep an 18 gallon plastic container filled with it and then siphon 2 gallons out into the kent aquadoser each night.

Monitor the alkalinity to see if the limewater alone is adequate. It will drop to lower than desirable levels if it is not.
