leather stalks turning white and hard. Is it dying?

Is there any hope of saving it? It has not opened in a week, shedded mucus, and started to droop. It is still firm where it is purple/grey now, but the bases look like skeleton.

Any suggestions?

hhm , i would maybe try a large water change, like 40-50% to start.

Then maybe try to increase flow to it.

last off maybe try to get it closer to the lights ?
