Has anyone tried the coral feeding product "Reef Chili?" If you have, impressed with results?
Thanks!

It's good stuff. I think the reason nobody has replied is because about 100 threads have been started about reef chili over the last year. Try a search to check them out.
I really like the stuff. It comes in a very small bottle but will last a long time (years) for the average tank. Many good ingredients and always makes the polyps come out in full force. HTH.

HTH...
Thanks for the input about the Reef Chili. I can't wait for it to arrive so I can treat my corals to a real treat! I'll also check out the boards for some more feedback.
Thanks, again...

you know that you can make the stuff on your own for a lot less money.. he post the ingredients on the website... all he does is mix them togeher and charges for that...
i like reefroids with cyclopeeze better anyways

you could thaw frozen food and mix it in a bottle way cheaper than what they charge. Convienient to buy it already mixed though.

I gladly tell anyone to make it themselves. I'm just trying to provide a easy and cheap solution for the average person.
Thing is if you purchase the smallest amount of each item (with shipping) for yourself you really only save about a buck , maybe two a month. You will also end up with three+ years worth of a product that doesn't last that long so it might even cost more if you throw out half.
however a club could do a group buy on the ingredients and prolly save $3-4 a month. Might even be some fun : )

Its not that expensive and it makes my tank very happy. In this hobby you cant be worrying about a few bucks here and there. Just get it already!.

I like the simplicity of it. I used to use liquid life marine, coral, and bioplankton, marine snow, and cyclopeeze. I'd have to remember which ones I did when, and doing all of them every day was too much. All in all, it was a pain to do.
Now I just put in 1-2 scoops a day along with my DIY fish food mix (Calfo style)

I was under the impression that it was freeze dried not frozen? Am I incorrect?
