Can Ich feed on dead fish?

If a dead fish remains in the aquarium then can Ich feed off of this and continue their life cycles until the dead fish has been completely consumed?

I have a fish that died of ich. It is impossible to get to so I would rather not remove it. There are no other fish in the tank so this would be the only possible host for ich but I was not sure if the fish had to be alive in order to continue to be a host?

No, that is one of the reasons no one can culture Cryptocaryon in a petri dish like they do with Amyloodinium. It does not feed from dead cells.
