Hi,

I pulled in a supply of your filter cartridges during the ARC buy a while back. I have a couple of questions..

1) I am thinking of a second RO membrane upgrade. We are on water restrictions most of the time, and I'd like to make this a bit more efficient. Additional flow is not a big issue, but water savings is. Any major drawbacks? Only negative I see is a slightly higher TDS going into the DI unit. I have my house regulated down to 60PSI currently, but I could go up to 65 with no problem (measured at the RO).

2) The base system I have is a Kent RO/DI (though I added an extra pre-filter stage a while back). It was rated for 60 GPD. Any issues with going to your 75GPD membranes? The one I have is at the end of its life, I believe, or will be soon. The system was rated for 60PSI.

3) An extra question on DI: You sell two DI resins (semiconductor and regular). What is the difference? May have missed it on your site... I will probably switch to refillable cartridges next round.

Thanks!

The more pressure the better I tested dual 75 GPD membranes at 65 psi. They produced about 5 1/2 gallons of production to 9 gallons of waste per hour. This figures out to 1.63 gallons of waste to 1 gallon production or saves 2.37 gallons of waste water. I have run a dual system for three months now without any issues and know of another running eighteen months without issue.

No problem changing a Kent 60 over to 75's with our conversion kit.

On DI resin grades the only difference is purity and not much difference between 15 and 18 megohm purity both are highest quality resins.
