magdrive impellors

If you were to change impellors on the similar sized magdrives (2 through 7, 12 & 18, 24 & 36) what would you get? Specifically, if you drop a mag18 impellor into a mag12, do you have the output of the 12 or 18? TIA

Sometimes it is an impeller change, sometimes pump cover and sometimes both. I think 12-> 18 is just impeller.

FWIW....I ordered the mag18 impellor and a mag 18 impellor drops right into a mag 12 making it a mag 18. Larger 'blades' on the mag 18 impellor is the only difference.
