I know there are threads about this already but search function never works. What are some of the easier sites on Modding a maxi-jet, stream style? I'm looking for something to do with my old MJ's.
Looking for the same info...also wanted to know if the mod could be done to a mj 400? or is it just the higher gph ones?
Thanks

If you don't want to make one, and want to buy nice ones that are machined and have a warranty, check out this out.

Seios also have much smaller intakes, which results in much greater force through each intake slot. The net effect of which is dead snails that try to pass over them (particularly larger snails like Turbos). My Seio killed at least 2 Turbos and I'm sure it would have killed lettuce sea slugs and sea hares had I not replaced it with maxi mods. I'm quite happy with my Maxi Jet mods. I replaced 2 Seio 820s with a Maxi Jet 1200 and 900 mod. I actually had to sand down the propeller on the 1200 a bit to reduce the flow.
