I recently (Saturday) purchased a clown and something seems to be wrong w/ him. The color looks great, and the few other fish I have bought from this store have all been spectacular, but this fish seems distressed. Doesnt really eat much yet...I am giving both flake and a carnivore frozen cube. I have no anemomes in the tank but I do have a frogspawn and a torch coral he hangs out around, but not in. He also likes to stay real close to the bottom and doesnt swim that swiftly...could there be a problem, or does he just miss home!?! Please help.

He may be just stressed from the move. My percs were weird for almost a week. Hopefully that's all it is.

I had two Clarkii fish. They always stayed towards the bottom of my tank. Except during feedings. They were fast and would try to eat all the food. Once I got a carpet anemone they never left it.

If the color is good and the fish is eating... I would think its stressed.

With some of my stressed fish... I've shut down the lights earlier and kept only the night-time lights on.

Hope your fish starts feeling like its good ole self again soon.
