here we go i have a 3'2'2' tank sps i have about 6 spsp right now in there doing ok curent lighting is 1 250 watt hqi 20k and 2 36" vho atinic and 2 36" atinic white ,,most intence light being in the 12 inch center of the tank ,,thinking of getting a little more light in there ,,opion 1 adding 4 t5 inplace of the vho 2 atinic pluss and 2 blue .option 2 add another 250 watt hqi the extra hallide will coast 100 more then the t5 addition ,,what do you all think ,,, thanks shawn

@ 24 inches deep you would be better served imo w/ 2 250 14k. the 20k bulb put out less par than than 10k or 14k.

Raise the HQI if you can, to get better coverage, and step down to a 10K or 14K.

actually for that wide tank i would either go with a 2x250 halide setup or what might work even better and be cheaper get a single pendant 400 watt mh. it will light it all up well and will use slightly less wattage then 2 250 mh's. radium 20k in the 400 watt setup awesome color.
