Moving Shrooms

I got a mushroom from a friend of mine that was attached to a scallop shell. This was about 3 or 4 months ago. Since putting it in my tank I can see that it has split 2 times leaving me with 3. The one he gave me is about 2 1/2 inches now from about 1 inch when he gave it to me. The other 2 are about 1/4 inch. The small ones are hidden under the "cap" of the larger one. My question is, Can I remove the larger one from the shell it's on? If so... How do I remove it? Or I should I just let nature take place instead of playing god?

If you just wait ;) the mushrooms will spread quite quickly without your having to move or relocate anything. Just be sure you have them placed in your display where you want the colony to be. You will have scads of shrooms before you know it.

Let nature take it's course. They will move if they want to, if not, there will be a cluster of mushrooms.
